Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance

We recognise that students join Morley at all stages of their lives and careers. As such, we have a Careers service that will support you in making an informed decision about your next steps and your progression. This service is Matrix Accredited and is available to all current and Prospective students, for more information, please email advice@morleycollege.ac.uk to book a one to one session with a qualified adviser.  

Help to find the right course for you

Our qualified and experienced “Careers and Information Advice and Guidance Officers” can talk through your options, so you can know you are making the choice that is right for you. 

This can include:

  • different levels of study and whether the course has specific entry requirements 
  • the subjects we offer
  • opportunities to progress to the next level and 
  • possible careers.

You might never have had to write a CV or covering letter, or it may have been decades since you last did. Don’t worry. We can help you.

Our Careers Advisors work closely with course tutors and have developed a knowledge base around each curriculum area and what careers they can lead to. Depending on which course you are on, you may have a class workshop on CV writing, applying for a job or writing a cover letter. If not, or you feel like you need some more specific, personalised advice, please contact the team.

The team offers UCAS workshops that cover the application process and how to write that stand-out personal statement. They also offer individual appointments where you can discuss your choices, options and next steps.
