Class format and activities

Maths courses run from September to early June. We offer classes in the morning, afternoon and in the evening. There is also the option to choose between in-centre and exclusively online learning. Achievement on your course will be measured by completion of 3 exams in May/June 2022. Your progress towards achieving the learning outcomes will be reviewed throughout the course. At the start of the course you will have an opportunity to discuss these with your tutor and set your own personal targets, linked to the learning outcomes and future goals.

Entry requirements

You will complete an initial assessment to assess your level of maths. You must also have a good level of English and IT. We will give you an online assessment and interview to help decide which course is right for you. If you’re not at GCSE level yet you can study Functional Skills, which are nationally recognised qualifications and can be a stepping stone to GCSEs.

What you need to know before you enrol

We expect no less than 90% attendance from all students. You should also commit to completing all tasks set as homework.
