English for Tourism & Hospitality at Morley

Morley College London is pleased to announce a brand new course: CTH Level 1 Certificate in ESOL for work (English for Tourism & Hospitality).

Developed by the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH), this course is designed to support people who are second language speakers who work or wish to work in the hospitality and tourism industry, and need support with their English.  This course arose in response to an identification of a specific need in the industry where often staff were skilled in their work, but do not have the language to progress or to become customer facing.

Focusing on the language and grammar structures specifically needed to provide excellent customer service in these industries, as well as to apply for jobs, this course was developed with the needs of employers as well as potential employees at the forefront. At Morley, we will use the expertise of our exceptional staff to ensure high quality lessons and to produce employable, skilled students.

The Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality has been providing qualifications to centres for 30 years and their expertise in the Hospitality, Culinary and Tourism industries result in highly trained, qualified staff for employment. Visit their website.

Details of the course times and days can be found here.

In order to enrol, students must complete an English assessment to demonstrate their skills at Level 1. To book an assessment for yourself or for your staff, please call 0207 450 1834, or email essentialskillsenquiries@morleycollege.ac.uk
