You will learn: - The fundamental workings of the Esports industry; developers, publishers, sponsors, distributors, teams, players and tournaments - The professional roles in the Esports industry and the creation of a career development plan to push you towards a prosperous creative future - The development of various Esports assets, including digital imagery (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator), video recording and editing (Premiere), animation and motion graphics (After Effects) and logos - Advanced skills analysis and development techniques associated with the top-performing teams - The business side of Esports, how to progress and build a future - Live streaming and shoutcasting - Creating a team and managing your pathway in the industry

Class format and activities

All course materials (project briefs, background notes, handouts, YouTube videos, links to content etc.) will be available online and accessible via our Virtual Learning Environment, Google Classroom.

You do not need to have prior knowledge of this subject area prior to applying; we require and expect passion, curiosity and drive.

All resources will be provided, though we would advise you bring a portable external hard drive to store created digital assets. You need a positive, can-do attitude with plenty of enthusiasm for the creative industries. You will be eager to learn, bursting with potential and ready to challenge your understanding of the world in which we live.
