What you will learn

You have passed your Entry 2 exams or understand and use English at a strong intermediate level. You read and write in your language and use the Roman alphabet. In class you will develop your English and prepare for exams.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Be able to write a short two-paragraph text
  • Work towards sequencing text chronologically

Class format and activities

You will: - work individually, in pairs and in groups to develop language skills and confidence. - practise listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. - use the internet and other technology to develop language skills. - prepare for exams.

Lined A4 paper or notebook. Pen, pencil and A4 file. A smartphone or tablet will be useful in class.

The teacher will advise you on the next step. If you progress successfully, you can enrol on the Bridging to Level 1 course or the ESOL Level 1 course in the next academic year.
