Morley College London, a premier adult education institution, invites applications for the position of Jazz Singing Teacher within our thriving Jazz Department.

At Morley, music is part of our DNA. Composers Gustav Holst and Michael Tippett were both Directors of Music and many distinguished composers and musicians have taught and performed at the college.

  • Lead Group Jazz Singing Classes: Deliver jazz singing courses to adults in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications:

  • Jazz Singing Qualification: Possess a BA in Jazz Singing or equivalent experience.
  • Teaching Experience: Demonstrate your expertise through a proven track record in teaching jazz singing.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit exemplary verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Note: Group adult learning classes held on Tuesday nights. The selected candidate will start with one 90-minute class, collaborating with a piano accompanist. Anticipate the addition of a second class soon, driven by growing student demand, enriching our jazz singing provision.
