Announcing Morley Gallery's spring/summer season

This week marks the start of a wonderful summer series of student end of year shows across the College – what we call the Artists of Morley.
Throughout the summer, Morley Galleries will feature a diversity of inclusive and innovative exhibitions including: Sharing Bronze, MADE, End of Year Textiles & Ceramics, HIDDEN, The Chelsea Summer Show, Showcasing Creative HE at Morley, but name but a few. Visiting our galleries is free and everyone is welcome! Here are some of the featured shows:
‘Something of Importance’
23 May – 12 June
Morley Gallery, Waterloo
In Made 2025 celebrates the talent and achievement of Morley College London’s visual arts adult learners.
Bookbinding, Printmaking, Sculpture and Textiles students were encouraged to explore the UN Sustainable Development Goals or to express their own ideas of ‘Something of Importance’ through the work they created in class. MADE showcases the wide range of work created by learners from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of skill and craftsmanship using a variety of materials, techniques and approaches.

Morley Gallery, Waterloo
This joint exhibition includes Ceramics HND and HNC students’ along with Textile Foundation students’ final projects at Waterloo. The displaying ceramics highlight inventive approaches to throwing, casting, and hand-building, while the textiles reveal personal journeys expressed through both traditional and experimental techniques. Both student groups feature the individuality, creativity, and growth of students, celebrating a successful ending of their two-year journey and the diverse materials, processes, and ideas they’ve mastered.

North Kensington Centre for Skills
North Kensington Centre at Morley celebrates the creative achievements of its adult students in Glass, Ceramics, Jewellery, Interior Design and Architecture in its major Summer Exhibition. The exhibition includes advanced work from workshops, BTEC Level 2 and 3 classes, and mixed-ability unaccredited courses. Each discipline explores a wide range of techniques and processes, offering visitors a rich, diverse, and inspiring experience.

Chelsea Centre for Creative Industries
This exhibition is co-curated by both teaching staff and graduating students from Levels 3, 4, and Higher Education. Driven by a spirit of creativity, playfulness, and teamwork, the showcase brings together a vibrant mix of disciplines—painters teaming up with sound artists, performers collaborating with musicians, and fashion designers working alongside photographers. Come and see as our students navigate across disciplines, shaping their own creative journeys and gaining the confidence to enter the creative industries with a distinctive portfolio of work.

New Creative Higher Education offer*
The BA (Hons) Creative Practice* and MA Creative Practice* are innovative, full-time and part-time courses. These programs offer students a distinctive blend of creative opportunities and experiences. Drawing on the wide-ranging disciplinary expertise within Morley’s liberal arts tradition, these courses are designed to encourage dynamic and forward-thinking creative development. In a rich multidisciplinary environment, students are encouraged to collaborate across fields—sparking new ideas, inventive processes, and the creation of bold, original work.
