Vanessa is an artist whose main medium is Mosaics.
Originally a painter, she learned Mosaics in Italy, and in her training, was involved in her teachers’ commissions, gaining hands-on experience on large projects.
Vanessa’s approach to the medium is through her playfulness with materials and her vision of this as a collaborative dialogue, allowing for personal expression.
Her experience of teaching Mosaics for over 30 years, her involvement with community projects, and her technical expertise allows her to support students in their personal explorations.
