Tony Huber

Tony is a highly experienced dance tutor who has been teaching at Morley College for many years, establishing himself in teaching Jive and Swing dances.

First trained at the LuneRoc Performance Arts School in Montparnasse and Porte de Vanves, Paris, he then continued his training and performing in London with various successful dance companies such as the Roc-la Jive Dance Company. At the time, he also taught at various colleges all around London and organised highly popular bi-monthly Jive / Rock ā€˜nā€™ Roll dance events, attracting up to 200 dancers, at the Notre Dame Hall in Leicester Square, London.

Whilst Jive is a dance style comprising of multiple disciplines from Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Rock ā€˜nā€™ Roll to Modern Jive, Tony finds his individual style and energy perfectly suited to dancing to faster pace music which he enjoys best.

Being a qualified educator with a MA Degree in Post-Compulsory Education & Training, his goals are to always challenge and inspire his learners to achieve their potential in dance whilst ensuring they enjoy learning this new skill and have fun.
