Sarah has done lots of tertiary tutoring, first at Sussex and Kent universities, then at Middlesex and Royal Holloway. She has tutored in adult education at Morley since 2011 and also in recent years for the Workers’ Educational Association and City Lit.
She won Poetry Review’s new poet of the year award in 1999, her first book was shortlisted for the Forward best first collection prize and she went on to write as poet in residence for Spurs, pen many published book reviews of others’ work and now have five collections with Bloodaxe Books.
She was originally a classicist, still love language, syntax and word choice and look forward to helping you find the right words for what you want to say.
