Maria is a professional artist who specialices in glasswork. Her work has been exhibited in various exhibitions and is part of public and private collections both in the UK and internationally.
She has been teaching Art and Design for the past 23 years, focusing on architectural and Kiln formed glass techniques. She has taught in adult education and as a visiting lecturer in other adult institutions globally.
Since 2022, Maria has been the senior lecturer in Glass at Morley College’s North Kensington Centre for Skills, where she coordinates qualification courses, Master Glass courses, and workshops for adult learners.
Maria is passionate about teaching the medium of glass and encourages her students to learn traditional skills while also exploring new techniques. Her goal is to motivate her students to pursue a better life as artists, makers, or in the Art and Design industry.
