Hilda is Morley’s Events and Alumni Manager and is responsible for all internal and external events at the college.
Prior to joining Morley, Hilda was Events Coordinator for Facilities Management within a local authority, responsible for venue management and income generation of 10 buildings.
Hilda has worked in further education for 12 years and counting, having started her career as a Personal Assistant to the Principal/CEO and changing careers to events management at the college. The best moments for Hilda is seeing the students that feel they would not amount to anything or find education challenging excel and go off to university, follow a career path or secure that job they never thought they could do.
Outside of work, Hilda has started a new hobby – decorating and believes she is the next Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen if not better. Hilda loves to cook and read and is hoping to learn to play the violin soon.
