Having taught Painting and Drawing courses at Morley for over 20 years, it always is a privilege to support and witness students’ progression in their artistic studies.
I paint in oils and the majority of my work is figurative, with touches of abstraction, occasionally I need to work in pure abstraction. Over the years I have had 3 solo exhibitions and taken part in many mixed exhibitions.
My painting has featured in publications such as, ‘Seeing Ourselves Women’s Self-Portraits’ by Francis Borzello Thames & Hudson, ‘Women and Art Contested Territory’ Judy Chicago, Weidenfield & Nicholson, and as a contributor in ‘When words are not enough…creative response to grief’ Quickthorn Press 2022
