Fenella Juanita Barker has worked as a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer since 1990, touring to USA, Canada and throughout UK and Europe, working in theatre, opera, cabaret, cruises, TV, video and film.
Companies include National Character Dance Company, Romanska Folk Ballet, Springs Dance Company, MAS Dance, Cooperative Dance Theatre and teaching in London includes Morley College London (since 1997), London Metropolitan University, English National Ballet School, City & Islington College, Pineapple Dance Studios and Dance Attic Studios.
Fenella is currently performing with Flamenco y Danza and Moving Stories Dance Company.
Qualifications and Awards: MA Performing Arts, BA Hons Dance with Spanish, SDS IdB2 (Cat A), RSL Level 4 Diploma in Dance Teaching (Flamenco and Spanish Dance), RAD (RTS), AIDTA (Ballet), Silver Swans ® Licensee, Certified Teacher of PBT ®, Recipient of 2016 SDS Presidents’ Award and SDS 2009 Teachers’ Bursary.
