Carol Wilhide-Justin was taught Japanese Woodcut in Japan by Japanese sensei. On her return from Japan she spent two years at RCA further embedding the technique for her MA. As well as exhibiting her work in London and abroad she teaches in colleges across London and lectures for the Arts Society.

She is currently writing a book for the Crowood Press titled Japanese Woodcut: From Traditional Techniques to Contemporary Practice.
