Rachel Warr

Rachel Warr is an award-winning theatre maker and dramaturg who specialises in puppetry. Her work includes string, rod, glove and shadow puppetry, light manipulation and object theatre. Prior to puppetry she studied English Literature and trained in dance, mask, mime and vocal work. Her work has been presented at venues across the UK, and internationally in France, Germany, Czech Republic, Romania, Bosnia, Turkey, Singapore and Canada. Rachel is a highly experienced teacher, providing professional development training for actors, dancers and puppeteers. She has been a guest tutor at several drama schools and venues including the Little Angel Theatre. Rachel is Puppeteer in Residence at the Centre for Performance Science, a member of The Art Worker’s Guild, and Artistic Director of Dotted Line Theatre.
