Craig Hanlon-Smith to leave Morley in summer 2025

Craig Hanlon-Smith – Morley’s Vice Principal for Student Engagement, and Centre Principal for the North Kensington Centre for Skills – will take up a new role as Principal of London South Bank Technical College from the end of summer 2025.

Of his six years at Morley, Craig said:

“It has been the privilege of my professional life to lead the North Kensington Centre through its physical and educational renovation and rebuild. The significance of that Centre in that community cannot be overstated and we should all be proud of the work that has taken us to where we are today.

“I am genuinely thankful for my time with Morley; there has not been a single day when I have not felt enthusiasm about coming to work in those six years…not one.”

Morley College London interim Principal and CEO Ralph Moran said:

“On behalf of both the senior leadership team and the governing body, I want to express our thanks and admiration for all that Craig has achieved here at Morley since 2019. We wish him every success in his new role.”

Craig’s final day at Morley will be Friday 29 August 2025.

Arrangements for both interim and permanent cover for Craig’s role are currently being progressed.
