What you will learn

Our new course The Marriage of Shakespeare and Flamenco a Performance Project will combine the development of acting and dancing skills as well as singing. Your tutors, Danielle Allan leading on the acting element and Fenella Barker leading on the dancing element, will collaborate with musician Juan Giraldo. Together, all three artist-facilitators will guide you through a creative workshop process leading to a live group performance at our end of academic year Dance Fusion event on Friday, June 28th. Combine your interests and skills in Shakespearean drama, flamenco dance and singing as you enjoy this unique study opportunity. Important: students applying as actors will participate in all six sessions of the course (sessions 1-6); students applying as dancers will participate in sessions 5-6 only. Those interested in applying as dancers only should contact Fenella (fenella.barker@morleycollege.ac.uk); as actors (who may also seek to dance), please contact Danielle (dani.allen@morleycollege.co.uk) for advice and guidance about enrolment and participation. Please note that for students participating as dancers only, the 'full' rate fee to pay is £56 (i.e., 40% of the full fee for six weeks) or £46 (i.e., 40% of the concessionary rate for six weeks).
