You will weigh your wax piece to work out an approximate weight and cost in silver and be shown where to take it or send it to have it cast into silver or bronze. With the mould we have made we will make a resin version of our ring and we will also use commercially sourced moulds to make a variety of resin cast pieces of jewellery. On the last day we will be cleaning up our silver cast rings and our resin pieces. By the end of the course you will have a series of sculptural jewellery pieces that will form a small collection. In order to ensure that you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular and detailed feedback from your tutor, in a constructive and supportive environment.
