What you will learn
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- pronounce Japanese words correctly written in English alphabets
- say everyday greetings
- talk about yourself eg.nationality, age, what you like/dislike etc.
- do simple shopping eg.prices, colours etc.
- • read Hiragana (one of 3 Japanese scripts)
Cost
Class format and activities
The course will be delivered using spoken and written forms, and other tools such as Powerpoint, Podcasts etc. The teacher also uses the college’s online learning platform Microsoft Teams. During the lesson students will interact using group or in-pairs etc. Achievement on your course will be measured by whether you meet the learning outcomes above. At the start of the course, you will have an opportunity to discuss these with your tutor and set your own personal targets, linked to the learning outcomes and future goals.
