Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Learn how to correctly pronounce Japanese words written in English alphabets.
- Write some Japanese alphabet characters.
- Learn how to write your name or friends’ names in Japanese characters.
- Learn how to say some Japanese greeting words.

Class format and activities
The course will be delivered in a casual and friendly atmosphere. We’ll look at examples of previously constructed cards and we’ll be using traditional Japanese printed papers and washi papers. We will also draw upon elements of origami (Japanese paper folding).

No previous knowledge required.
What you need
Please bring a glue (eg. Pritt sticks) and a pair of scissors if you have. The teacher can supply them but numbers will be limited.
