Class format and activities
This is a practical creative writing course for writers with an interest in exploring their lives through writing. In class you will further your understanding of the memoir form through a range of practical writing activities; the study of ‘mentor’ texts and homework. You will develop your critical skills through workshop and class discussion.
Entry requirements
No formal entry requirements but you will need to be able to have a reasonable degree of literacy.
What you need to know before you enrol
A small amount of homework is set each week.
What you need
Bring a pen and paper to the class. Apart from the homework activities there is sometimes a small amount of reading to be done outside of the classes (a list of suggested reading will be provided by the tutor).
