What you will learn

A course for Entry 2 and 3 students to develop overall speaking, presentation and confidence skills as well as allow for language practice and new language acquisition. Course finishes with a performance for family and friends.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Build your confidence
  • Confidently express yourself not just through words, but also through facial expressions and body language
  • Improve English speaking skills by using drama techniques, activities and exercises

Class format and activities

• Fun warm-up exercises and drama games the whole class can do together• As well as live sessions there will be support and teaching through pre-recorded video material• Exercises that will help you to communicate through body language as well as your voice• Drama activities that encourage you to use and improve the speaking skills you have already• Pair and group work• Tutor and peer feedback

ESOL Entry Level 2 & 3.

This is an isolated class but you may wish to move onto one of Morley’s beginners’ drama courses and continue developing skills that will help you to express yourself with confidence.
