Class format and activities

At Morley College we are committed to doing more than simply passing an exam. The course will be offered at our Waterloo Centre in our purpose built Science lab and will be taught by our expert teachers. You will learn through a mixture of lecture, group work, interactive workshop, practical work, problem solving and additional e-learning resources. A large component of the course will focus on developing skills in problem solving and scientific thinking in preperation for the exam but also for further study. Achievement on your course will be measured by whether you meet the learning outcomes above during 2 externally assessed exams in May/June. At the start of the course you will have an opportunity to discuss these outcomes with your tutor and set your own personal targets, linked to the learning outcomes and your future goals i.e.: progression to an advanced- level course.
