What you will learn

You speak English at an intermediate level or above and want to improve your pronunciation and grammar. This class will develop your confidence in sentence structures, as well your spoken English and confidence in your voice. The course will suit the needs of students in class, and activities will be structured around what you would like to learn and develop

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Say one sentence correctly and confidently in any past tense
  • understand how to say at least one difficult English sound and word
  • Write and read out a paragraph confidently in English with the correct grammar

Class format and activities

You will: - work individually, in pairs and in groups to develop your grammar and pronunciation and confidence. - practise speaking sounds, words, sentences and paragraphs - write and read out short texts using the grammar you would like to practise - take part in drilling, exercises, dictation activities and discussions - use a range of materials as well as the internet and other technology to develop language skills. - build your study skills
