What you will learn

This course is designed for students who are interested in starting a GCSE Maths programme in September 2024. Students will undergo assessment at the end of the course, and their overall performance will be reviewed to determine their readiness for progression to a GCSE Maths course, or a more suitable alternative.

Entry requirements

Usually, there are no specific prior qualifications required to join the Aim for GCSE Maths Fast Track course. However, students are generally expected to have achieved Functional Skills Level 1 Maths and English, or their Key Stage 3 education, which covers a broad range of subjects at the middle school level.

It's useful to have a variety of coloured pens or highlighters for annotating and emphasizing key points in your notes.• Calculator: Ensure you have a suitable calculator that complies with the exam board regulations.
