What you will learn

Suitable for those with over a year's playing experience in folk and pop styles (preferably having attended Acoustic Guitar 2A & 2B). Further develop your barre chords, strumming and picking skills, and ability to read music notation. This course is a continuation from Acoustic Guitar 2B and therefore requires tutor approval and you are unable to enrol for it online. Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

A variety of chords and strumming patterns to accompany well known songs: - including Soft Rock, Blues and Pop styles
Develop music and tab reading skills
Develop syncopated plectrum strumming rhythms
Read and apply barre chords
Play 12 Bar Boogie Blues patterns (Intro lick and End Tag)
Play a lead guitar solo

Entry requirements

This is course is suitable for those with at least a year’s experience of playing the guitar and some music reading skills. Online enrolment on term 3 of this course, starting in April, is only available to those enrolled in the previous term.
