You should be committed to studying maths at this level and aiming for a grade 5 or higher in your GCSE exam in summer 2026. You must attend at least 90% of lessons and be punctual. To succeed, you should plan to dedicate at least 10 hours per week for study and homework. You will also need access to a computer or tablet with an internet connection to complete online assignments.

You will need a Casio FX-83GT CW scientific calculator (or a similar version such as FX-83GTX or FX-85GTX). You will also require writing materials, a notebook, and a geometry set.
