Music at Morley has a long and distinguished history stretching back over 100 years to when Gustav Holst was Director of Music (1907-1924) and taking in Michael Tippett’s years in the same role (1940-1951) when concerts at Morley played an important part in keeping London’s musical life going during the war years.
