In-Person Advice & Guidance Dates

We hope to be able to hold several Advice & Guidance sessions across our centres in August. These sessions will be intended for those who are unable to do an online assessment for us. Due to current restrictions in place, it will be necessary to book in advance and places will be limited. Further details will be published on this page of the website in the coming weeks.

To enrol on a GCSE English or Maths course, you will need to complete an online assessment and have an interview with a tutor. If you have any questions about our GCSE courses, please email the appropriate centre using the email addresses given above.

EFL Courses

No assessment is required for our EFL courses, but we do recommend that you take the online Cambridge English test before enrolling online.

What do I need to bring with me to an in-person Advice and Guidance session?

Students who want to enrol on one of our Essential Skills courses should provide the following as proof of eligibility when enrolling:

  • Valid passport/visa
  • Proof of benefits
  • Proof of low income (less than £330 p/w) - recent bank statements or three payslips from the last six months.

Please note that our Functional Skills and GCSE English and Maths courses are free as long as you have been living in the UK or the EU for the previous 3 years, therefore you will not be expected to provide proof of eligibility.
