Assessment Dates

In-Person Advice & Guidance Sessions

We hope to be able to hold several Advice & Guidance sessions across our centres in August and September. These sessions are intended for those who are unable to do an online assessment. Due to current restrictions in place, it will be necessary to book in advance and places will be limited. Please see below for further details about in-person Advice & Guidance sessions at each centre.

Essential Skills at the North Kensington and Chelsea Centres

Our Essential Skills courses based at both the North Kensington and Chelsea Centres, are scheduled to start again in September 2020. Course details including dates, times and fees are currently available on the website to view using the course search function. If you have any questions about the Essential Skills courses that take place at our North Kensington and Chelsea Centres, please email enquiries@morleycollege.ac.uk.

Essential Skills at the Waterloo, Stockwell and Lewington Centres

Our ESOL courses based at the Waterloo, Stockwell and Lewington Centres are now full. The next available start dates for these courses are in January 2021. Please check this page of the website in December for further information about enrolment.

There are still some places available on our English, Maths (including GCSE) and Digital Skills courses based at our Waterloo and Stockwell Centres. Before enrolling on any English, Maths or Digital Skills course, you will need to be assessed and have an interview with a tutor. Please email essentialskillsenquiries@morleycollege.ac.uk to book in for the below Advice and Guidance session where you will be assessed and interviewed:

  • Friday 2 October 11:00 – 14:00 at the Westminster Bridge Road Centre

Please note that this is the final Advice and Guidance session taking place this term for Maths, English and Digital Skills courses.

The Essential Skills courses based at the Waterloo Centres (including the Stockwell and the Lewington Centre) are for adults only. Therefore, we are unable to accept anyone under the age of 18 on the 31st of August of the current academic year. If you have any questions about the Essential Skills courses that take place at our Waterloo, Stockwell or Lewington Centres, please email essentialskillsenquiries@morleycollege.ac.uk.

GCSE English and Maths 

The next available start dates for our GCSE English and Maths courses are in September and October 2020. These courses take place at our North Kensington, Chelsea, Waterloo and Stockwell Centres.

EFL Courses

No assessment is required for our EFL courses, but we do recommend that you take the online Cambridge English test before enrolling online.

What do I need to bring with me to an in-person Advice and Guidance session?

Students who want to enrol on of one of our Essential Skills courses should provide the following as proof of eligibility when enrolling:

  • Valid passport/visa
  • Proof of benefits
  • Proof of low income (less than £330 p/w) - recent bank statements or three payslips from the last six months.

Please note that our Functional Skills and GCSE English and Maths courses are free as long as you have been living in the UK or the EU for the previous 3 years, therefore you will not be expected to provide proof of eligibility.
