Assessment Dates

ESOL and EFL courses 

The next available start dates for our ESOL courses are in January 2020. To enrol on an ESOL course at the main Morley College site, please come in on one of the below Advice and Guidance dates to be assessed:

  • Wednesday 8 January 10:00 - 14:00; 17:00 - 19:00
  • Thursday 9 January 10:00 - 14:00; 17:00 - 19:00

 Functional Skills English, maths and ICT courses

All Functional Skills English courses are now full for this academic year. The next available start dates for our Functional Skills maths and ICT courses are in January 2020. To enrol on a Functional Skills Maths or ICT course, please come in on the below Advice and Guidance date to be assessed:

  • Wednesday 8 January 10:00 - 14:00; 17:00 - 19:00

GCSE English and maths

All GCSE English and maths courses are now full, the next available start date is September 2020.

Essential Skills at the Stockwell Centre

There are a small number of Essential Skills courses that take place at the Stockwell Centre, the next courses are due to start in January 2020.

To enrol on an ESOL course at the Stockwell Centre, please come in on the below Advice and Guidance date to be assessed:

Essential Skills at the Lewington Centre

The Lewington Centre is based in Rotherhithe, between Lewisham and Southwark, and offers a range of Essential Skills courses including ESOL, English and maths.

To enrol on an ESOL course at the Lewington Centre, please come in on the below Advice and Guidance date to be assessed:

  • Thursday 9 January 10:00 - 14:00

What do I need to bring with me to an Advice and Guidance session?

Students who want to enrol on of one of our Essential Skills courses should bring the following as proof of eligibility as it may be required on assessment day:

  • Valid passport/visa
  • Proof of benefits
  • Proof of low income (less than £330 p/w) - recent bank statements or three pay slips from the last six months.

 Please note that our Functional Skills and GCSE English and maths courses are free as long as you have been living in the UK or the EU for the previous 3 years, therefore you do not need to bring proof of eligibility with you.
