What we support with;

Help to find the right course for you

Our qualified and experienced “Careers and Information Advice and Guidance Officers” can talk through your options, so you can know you are making the choice that is right for you.

This can include:
  • different levels of study and whether the course has specific entry requirements
  • the subjects we offer
  • opportunities to progress to the next level and
  • possible careers.

Support in your job search

You might never have had to write a CV or covering letter, or it may have been decades since you last did. Don’t worry. We can help you.

Our Careers Advisors work closely with course tutors and have developed a knowledge base around each curriculum area and what careers they can lead to. Depending on which course you are on, you may have a class workshop on CV writing, applying for a job or writing a cover letter. If not, or you feel like you need some more specific, personalised advice, please contact the team.

Want to go onto University?

Are you unsure what subject you want to study next or where you would like to go? We can help. The team offer UCAS workshops which cover the application process and how to write that stand-out personal statement. They also offer individual appointments where you can discuss your choices, options and next steps.
