Understanding Community Interpreting - New Course Launched

Morley has launched a new course that will give you the opportunity to find out about how different public services operate and how they can be accessed in the community.

This course will develop your awareness of language skills needed by community interpreters and how language register varies according to people, places and circumstances. You will also find out about how different public services operate and how they can be accessed in the community. Additionally, there will be opportunities to find out about voluntary or paid employment in community interpreting. 

This course is suitable for those who are fluent in English and another community language.

If your initial application is successful, you will be invited to attend the compulsory assessment session on Saturday, 21st April 10.00 - 13.00.

Compulsory assessment session: Saturday, 21 April – 10.00 - 13.00

Course dates and times: Saturday, 28 April to 21 July, 10.00 - 15.00
