Morley’s Higher Education students exhibit in the Morley Gallery
Last night, the Morley Gallery hosted a private view event showcasing the incredible work of HE creative arts students across Morley titled ‘New Directions: Showcasing Creative HE at Morley.’
The private view marked the launch of the exhibition, which runs until 5 July, and gave visitors a first look at the mix of artwork – from installations and fashion pieces to ceramics, millinery photography and more.
Visitors explored the gallery, chatted to the artists, and soaked up the atmosphere of creativity and collaboration that Morley’s Higher Education courses are known for.

At the show Morley’s innovative new Creative Practice BA Hons degree programmes (available full-time and part-time) were showcased. The degrees bring together students from all sorts of creative backgrounds, from visual arts and ceramics to fashion, music, and photography.

James Ward, Vice Principal for Higher Education at Morley College London, who attended the Private View, welcomed guests to the spectacular show. He said:
“Morley’s new Higher Education curriculum enables students to become immersed in creative practice across artforms – from visual arts, ceramics and fashion to music and photography. These degree courses are a great path towards supporting your progression goals to working in the UK’s leading Creative Industries.”

Last night’s event was a true celebration – not just of the brilliant work on show, but of the community that supports it. The exhibition is open at Morley Gallery to the public all week so there’s still time to pop in, be inspired, and see what the next generation of creatives are up to!
Congratulations to all students involved. Find out more about our HE courses here.
