11th December
Festive Craft Fair
…
Katie Jones, who teaches hand knitting and crochet at Morley, has made an appearance on this year’s series of Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas on Channel 4.
Katie appeared on the 30 November edition of the show, where she was the guest judge for a competition that saw four crafters making Christmas wreaths using a variety of different methods, including silversmithing, wood carving and pyrography. In another segment, she also demonstrated how to make pompoms out of yarn, which could then be strung together to make a soft and colourful wreath.
Katie will make an appearance in two more episodes of the show – on Wednesday 5 December she’ll be making mini pinatas, and in the last episode of the series on Friday 13 December, she’ll be demonstrating how to make crocheted bauble covers.
