Property Strategy Update - March 2018

Premises Manager Andrew Curran provides an update on the ongoing Property Strategy and renovation work at Morley:

Property Strategy Update March 2018"As previously announced and as you will have noticed  refurbishment on the main centre at Westminster Bridge Road is well underway, with the main reception area now being closed off so that our contractors have full access to the area and can work safely. Access to the main building continues to be through our QE2 Entrance located at the rear of the College (adjacent to Room B08), which is reached from King Edward Walk. Our reception team has relocated there and are on hand to help direct you and your students around the College if you are unsure of the way. We have also signposted the route from the front of the building and there will be staff on hand to direct you.

"The latest development in the refurbishment is that we have now begun the window renovation on the first floor, and are currently working on the windows in the Refectory, which remains open and with plenty of seating available despite the works. The contractors will continue working their way around the building from there, and between now and the beginning of the Summer term you will be able to see significant new developments in the works, including the new entranceway and the tower extension. Some classrooms will be affected by the window refubishment works, but we will announce details closer to the time, and aim to keep the disruption from these works to a minimum.

"The expected completion date for this stage of the renovation continues to be around the middle of the Summer term.
