Our most prominent media appearance recently was in the 27 October edition of Tes, in which Jon Cole talked about how we use discount codes and vouchers to boost course enrolments, encourage students to explore the range of courses available to them, and improve rates of returning or progressing students. We recently made use of discount codes while promoting the College at Stylist Live, which provided a strong point of engagement with the attendees, and our Black Friday promotion on a number of courses with low enrolments was a great boost to their numbers, so it’s a promotional method with lots of applications!
We’ve also made a couple of appearances on the BBC. The first was a mention in Jane Gardam's Desert Island Discs episode on 20 October 2017 - listen here and forward to 28 minutes to hear a Morley Mention. Jane speaks about how her late husband and daughter took classes together at Morley.
Meanwhile, our Head of Music and Performing Arts Peter Collyer appeared in a recent episode of BBC4's Tunes for Tyrants: Music and Power with Suzy Klein, talking about composer Michael Tippett. Read the full article and see Peter on the programme here.
