Higher Education

Higher Education, specifically designed for adults

At Morley College London, we understand that life can get in the way.
Adult learners often face various challenges when considering studying at a higher education learning level including, amongst others, the potential impact on family, work and finances.  We also appreciate that adult learners have a unique set of expectations relating to the environment, culture and final outcome of their learning journey.

With this in mind, Morley College London has recently introduced a range of Higher Education learning courses that are specifically tailored to adult learners.

We offer a selection of one, two or three-year programmes that provide you with a recognised qualification at each stage, with the ability to progress to the next level at a pace that suits your individual circumstances.

HNC / HND

Higher National Certificates (HNCs) and Higher National Diplomas (HNDs) are work-related, or vocational, higher education qualifications. They are Level 4 and Level 5 qualifications respectively.  They focus on helping you to develop the higher level practical skills that you will need to work in a specific industry.  Our HNDs are taught by staff who are both industry specialists and academics.  They will help you to develop your skills so that you will be ready to go straight into work once you have completed the course.

Morley offers HNC/HND programmes in Fashion, Product Design (Ceramics pathway), Music (Performance or  Production), Performing Arts (Acting), Social & Community Work and Business.

HNDs require a two-year commitment, but if that’s not right for you or you need to take a break in your studies, our HNC courses will give you a recognised and well regarded HE qualification after one year of study. You can then return to your studies and work towards a HND at a later date.

If you are interested in undertaking a HNC at Morley, please enquire under the relevant HND programme and a member of the HE team will contact you to discuss the options available.

BA (Hons) Degree

A Bachelor of Arts (BA) is a bachelor's degree awarded for an undergraduate course or programme in either the liberal arts, sciences, or both. It is a globally recognised Level 6 qualification.  Morley offers the opportunity to top up your Level 5 qualification in Fashion or Music to a full BA qualification, whether you have obtained it with us or elsewhere.  Further information on our top up study programmes are available here

We welcome anyone who may already possess a HNC, HND, or a Degree in another discipline who wishes to continue their journey in Higher Education, and will work closely with you to place you on the right course to meet your learning goals .
