Wellbeing at Morley
We understand that for you to succeed on your course you may require some support with your Mental Health and Wellbeing along the way. We have services in the college to provide this. Watch this video with Emily Muntz, Morley’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Coordinator, to find out more.
If you are on a full-time course, you will benefit from workshops devised by our Mental Health and Wellbeing Coordinator delivered in your class. These workshops will enable to you learn and develop skills in promoting positive wellbeing.
We focus on topics such as resilience, your wellbeing online and Health eating and Exercise.
Students on courses leading to a qualification could access one to one support during their time at Morley. This could be a couple of sessions to talk through an issue, or ongoing support. Everything we do is about helping you best achieve your potential in your studies.
Our Mental Health and Wellbeing team includes counsellors and Mental Health and Wellbeing Officers. If you feel that, during your time with us, you would like to talk to one of team, please email wellbeing@morleycollege..ac.uk and we will arrange a chat to see how we will be best to able to support you.
Around the College
We work with external organisations to promote the wellbeing of all our students. This means that during the year you will hear podcasts related to Mental Health on Morley Radio, and you will see specialist local organisations around the college.
We also run a series of activities for our students as a group to take your mind off everyday life in a supportive environment. Please see your Wellbeing noticeboard in your centre or My Day for more details.
