The Morley Choral Society and the Meridian Choir are joining forces with the Cambridge University Orchestra.
Come and see this joint performance of Haydn's late masterpiece Nelson Mass, alongside his 1st cello concerto, with soloist Jamal Aliyev under the baton of Benedict Collins-Rice.
This large, friendly choir is entirely non-auditioning. It performs at least twice a year and it's repertoire includes large-scale choral works such as Handel's Messiah, Mozart's Requiem, Haydn's Creation, Orff's Carmina Burana, Bach's St John Passion and Handel's Coronation Anthems.
The choir exists to give public performances of lesser known repertoire for small choir both a cappella and with (piano) accompaniment - from the 17th to the 20th centuries.
