Penny Lecture: How Craft Got Hip… And Can It Stay That Way?

November 26, 2018 @ 12:00 am - May 11, 2019 @ 12:00 am

Penny Lectures

Our oldest tradition dates all the way back to when we were first founded. Listen to a lecture on an interesting and unusual topic, delivered by an expert, for just a penny.

The past decade has seen an explosion of interest in all things making. Writer and former Crafts editor, Grant Gibson, explores why this happened and asks whether it’s popularity is simply a moment in fashion or whether it will prove to be something genuinely long-lasting.
