Mental Health Awareness Day
April 10, 2017 @ 12:00 am - May 9, 2017 @ 12:00 am
Good mental health is more than the absence of a mental health problem.
This Mental Health Awareness Week, 8-14 May 2017, we are going to look at mental health from a new angle.
On Monday 8th May Morley College London is celebrating Mental Health Awareness Week, and we want to boost your mood and put a spring in your step.
Rather than ask why so many people are living with mental health problems, we want to think about why too few of us are thriving with good mental health. For those of us who are juggling the demands of life, we are providing a day of taster activities to give you space to reflect on the small steps you can take towards a calmer happier you.
10.00 – 19:00 How am I thriving? Share your top tips with others
11.00 – 12.15 Hand reflexology – create space, peace and calm
12.30 – 13.45 Sample good mood food – lift your spirits
14.00 – 15.15 Japanese Calligraphy – release your creativity
15.45 – 16.15 The London Stroke Choir sing for you – be inspired
