Lunchtime concert with Edward Henderson and Lewis Spear

The work in this concert is the result of a collaboration that started during the pandemic. Unable to work with regular collaborators Edward and Lewis rehearsed in a deserted City Lit building finding ways to combine their different performance practices. The guitar and piano pieces contain nods to dance music and thrash metal alongside borrowings from Messiaen and Robbie Williams. In Crash Edward plays the drum machine which is then fed into a pedal board operated by Lewis so neither are fully in control of what comes out.
