The Penny Lectures are back and this series begins with writer and literary walker Henry Eliot

The writer Philip Pullman has called Curiocity: In Pursuit of London, ‘the most ingenious, insightful, inspiring, intoxicating, and simply interesting guide to the great city that I have ever seen’. Henry Eliot, one of the co-authors of Curiocity, discusses the book and some of the hidden and lesser-known stories of the capital, including dancing hippos, erotic cabbages and extra terrestrials you can touch. An entertaining evening that will give you new ways to see London differently.

Doors open at 5.30pm for a 6.00pm start.
