End of Term Performances

As the end of the spring term draws ever closer our calendar is filled with the many performances and concerts showcasing the talent and hard work our students have perfected this term. Be sure to save the dates in your diary now for what promises to be a lively cultural week.

Wednesday 16 March
JAM session
Drop into the Horse and Stable pub for our end of term JAM session with our jazz students.

An Evening of Jazz Favourites
Morley Big Band, under the baton of Tony Douglas MBE, presents an evening of jazz standards.

Wednesday 16 – Saturday 19 March
Opera Scenes: German and English
Students from the Morley Opera School will perform a selection of scenes in German and English opera. Works include: Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas; Britten’s Albert Herring and more.

Thursday 17 – Friday 18 March
Create Scratch Refine Repeat
Over the next two nights the four selected theatre companies will present 10-15 minutes of scratch work to a live audience and a panel of industry judges.

Friday 18 March
St. Matthäus Passion, Bach
St Matthaus Passion performed by Morley Chamber and College Choirs and conducted by David Todd.

Flamenco & Latin American Cabaret
A cabaret evening of song, dance and music inspired by Spanish and Latin American culture.
