Explore Yoruba in this lively class. This is one of Africa’s most widely spoken languages, which is a good language to speak if you are thinking about travelling in West Africa or just to connect with families and friends. Work on improving your oral and literacy skills in a friendly environment. Develop your ability to sustain conversation with native speakers, read stories, poems and use figure of speech in an appropriate context
Practice speaking and reading .Learning through practical activities (individual tasks, role-plays, pair and small group work, games) Writing basic single words and short sentences, e.g. gap-filling. Listening for the gist or basic information.
This course is suitable for those who already have a basic knowledge of the language. (Level A2- B1).
