This intensive fast paced course is one of four specialist pathways you can apply to within our unique Foundation Diploma suite. This renowned programme is for students that have studied a level 3 qualification and are looking to develop a competitive portfolio of work exploring areas of Media such as film making, animation, media production, sound and photography. The programme is designed to promote experimentation through collaboration with students from related Foundation pathways at Morley College's Chelsea Centre for Creative industries and by extending your creativity into these fields to help reinforce your specialism. Close to important museums and galleries, this dynamic course is taught by a team of dedicated tutors with relevant industry experience at a dedicated specialist creative centre. You will be encouraged and supported to discover your unique creative voice through experimentation, play and the discovery of new contexts for your creative potential. Through industry relevant briefs you will develop skills in Media production and development using industry relevant software (Adobe) and exploring hands-on processes such as traditional photography using our darkrooms and stop motion animation. The programme of study is predominantly experimental allowing you to deepen into your areas of interests s through in depth and broad investigations into visual language and creative practices. Small class sizes ensure that you are supported and encouraged to develop your visual language and create a standout portfolio of work that reflects your interests in your chosen pathway. This holistic approach will support the production of work that reflects contemporary practices and will help position you in the increasingly varied and dynamic context of current creative industry opportunities.
