What you will learn

A two day taster, learning through a small project such as a drop in seat or footstool. Explore specialist tools, materials and the fundamental processes. Progress to the Monday evening class with the same tutor. Learning Outcomes: By the end of this course, you will be able to: - Understand the safe and practical use of a workshop environment - Name and correctly use basic traditional upholstery materials and hand tools - Rip down a small project a drop in seat, or footstool safely and efficiently. - Gain an insight into some of the basic traditional techniques required to upholster a small project inc. webbing, tacking, stuffing, rolled and stitched edges
