A Sculpture taster course for beginners to get a feel for stone & wood carving and explore tools and techniques. Stone & Wood carving Sculpture term students can also use this course to develop their on going projects. Basic materials included.
Demonstration, practical work and discussion, with one to one guidance. Beginners will be given practical guidance and health and safety information. You will develop your carving techniques. We will be looking at visual examples of other stone & wood sculptors' work.
No. This course is suitable for beginners, on going stone & wood carving students and sculpture students who wish to learn new skills.
None - some lifting, but help is always available.
Pencil and note book /sketch book is useful Please ensure you wear stout closed in shoes or boots and apron
