This course is designed for those who wish to break into the photographic industry and present their work in an effective way. At the beginning of the course you will reflect on how you would want your career to move forward and will create a personal plan, so as to identify the skills needed. You will be set goals that will be reviewed weekly, and assignments that will encourage you to organize and accomplish photo shoots. The course is focussed on portfolio/website review, career mentoring, ethics and legal documents overview, as well as image quality and workflow efficiency. With the guidance of a photography tutor with professional experience you will be encouraged to find your strengths and will take the necessary steps to start your career as a photographer.
You will learn actively and will practice the demonstrated skills during the sessions. Your tutor will continuously support you. All course materials (background notes, hand outs, youtube videos, etc.) will be available online and accessible via our Virtual Learning Environment, Microsoft Teams that you will have 24-7 access.

This is a course for intermediate and advanced learners with experience in photography and computer software. Being familiar with a Mac or a PC computer and knowing how to navigate through the menus and commands would be essential.
You will need a Mac or a PC computer no older than 4 years, that will support the latest Creative Cloud programmes, such as Lightroom and Photoshop (that you need to have subscribed to before starting the course). Microsoft Teams (easily downloadable as part of your free Office 365 account when you enrol)
