Pearson Level 1 in Essential Digital Skills is for learners who want to develop understanding and skills in digital. The qualification gives learners the opportunity to:• demonstrate the ability to develop manage and configure devices• apply knowledge and these skills to organise, share and manage files• become vigilant of online threats• achieve a foundation for further study at Level 2.

Pearson Level 1 in Essential Digital Skills consists of two externally set and internally marked assessments. They are available as on-demand assessments. This is a Level 1 course for students at general beginner level. All students need to have a beginners/entry 3 course or have relevant experience. You will need an interview by a subject tutor.
You must make sure you can commit for the whole duration of the courses. Regular attendance is important.
You will need a USB/Memory stick and a folder. Pens and paper will be required. You will need an access to a computer at home and do some independent studying.
There are a variety of other courses you could do either at the same time or after this course. The immediate progress is Level 2 Certificate in IT User .
